Woods, Barbara Raylene, 75, office manager, died July 29. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday, Church of Christ (Absolute Economical, Oklahoma City). Barbara Raylene (ONeil) Woods went to be with Jesus on July 29, 2017 surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in 1942 in Lawton OK. She graduated from Enid High School and lived in several locations throughout her life including Germany and England. She married Billy Woods in 1967 and together they raised 4 children, Scott, Rick, Camron and Tiffany. She was dedicated to her career as an office manager and coffee barista and continued to work until her final days. She was a faithful member of South Yukon Church of Christ. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed attending their events and performances and was their biggest fan. She was always up for learning new things like ceramics, stained glass, jewelry making, and painting. She also loved movies and true crime shows, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Patricia and Lloyd “Wheeler” Morse, husband Billy Woods, and sister Zawella Bannon.She is survived by her children Scott and wife Melodie, Rick Rayburn and wife Karla, Camron Jolliff and husband Dan, and Tiffany Woods. Grandchildren Jennifer Lane and husband Nate, Erin Rayburn, Kyle Rayburn and wife Rachael, Kaylee Rayburn, Analise Rayburn, Danny Jolliff, Kailyn Jolliff, Logan Woods and wife Shaylan, Kale Sharp and Nicholas Woods, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her precious dog Diego.

Betty Alcorn Hitchcock Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Hitchcock of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Enid, Oklahoma on Jul 30, 1942, who passed away at the age of 79, on September 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Floyd and Theresa Fontella Daniels (Hamm); her daughter Aletha Hicks; and her brother Ernest Alcorn. She is survived by: her grandson Chris Hitchcock (Amber) of McAlester; her great grandchild Anslee Hitchcock of McAlester; and her nieces, Jennifer Alcorn, Lynn Alcorn-Pittman, Natalie Caley and Sarah Schliske.

Evans, Jimmie A.

The graveside services for 82-year-old Enid resident Jimmie Allen Evans Sr. will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Pastor David Reber will officiate.
Jimmie was born June 22, 1941, in Enid to Jimmie and Helen (Taylor) Evans and passed away July 4, 2023. Jim Married Vesta Paulette “Polly” Shippy, May 23, 1966. He was raised in Enid, Oklahoma, and graduated from Enid High in 1960. They had four children. He served in the 45th Infantry of the Oklahoma National Guard, worked at Vance Air Force Base on T-38 planes for several years. He worked for the Enid Fire Department and retired as a Captain after 25 years of service in 1997.
After retirement Jim worked for the Enid Public Schools as an elementary bus driver. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, vegetable gardening, and his naps. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Polly of 57 years; his children Teresa Washburn and husband Dale, Son-in-law Micheal Lawver, Ginger Courter and husband Mavick, and Jimmie Evans Jr., all of Enid, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Brad Washburn and wife Wendy, Lauren (Lawver) McBride and husband Jacob, Mason Lawver, Morgan (Lawver) Treat and husband Trey, Chase Courter, and Macy Courter, and six great-grandchildren. Jim has one sister Linda Kirby of Belvidere, Illinios, and a brother-in-law Blaine Jantzen of Bartlesville, OK. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Janice Janzen, and daughter Jill Lawver. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church General Fund.
